Night Shift: open piano night in Space
31st of October 20:00–00:00
Every Friday night, Fotografiska transforms into Night Shift: starting at 20:00, the museum takes on a new face — the lights dim, the music turns up, the drinks get a little bolder, and entry is just €10 until midnight.
Wrapped in the night, the museum invites both spontaneous and planned visits — whether you’re in the mood for vibrant energy or quiet contemplation, the doors stay open until midnight. Keep your mind and eyes open for surprises — you never know what tricks Night Mode might have up its sleeve.
On October 31, Night Shift ventures into cosmic soundscapes. In the hall of Fotografiska’s space exhibition, you’ll find a piano waiting for the curious — pros, beginners, earthlings, and galactic sound explorers alike.
Come and play your best notes, a Mozart symphony, or your own take on Interstellar. Or just press the keys and see what happens — the piano is open until midnight. At 21:00, audiovisual artist Thomas Vanz — the creator behind the viral mirror room of Fotografiska’s Space exhibition — takes the piano for a one-of-a-kind sonic journey.
That same weekend, TEDxTallinn is taking place at Fotografiska, exploring the theme of space. Several artists from the space exhibition will be in town as part of the event — feel free to strike up a conversation! You might find yourself chatting with one of them… or with another TEDxTallinn speaker altogether.
P.S. Come as you are — whether as a pumpkin, Spider-Man, weekday ambassador, or Friday night reveler.
