Night Shift: final Corbijn Friday with champagne
April 24, 20:00–00:00
April offers the final chance to experience Anton Corbijn exhibition at Fotografiska and immerse yourself in his iconic, darkly atmospheric and mysterious photographic world.
Corbijn’s distinctive visual language, immediate, raw, and timeless, has shaped contemporary music culture for decades. The exhibition looks back on five decades of his creative work, bringing together portraits of legendary artists such as Depeche Mode, U2, David Bowie, Nick Cave, and many others.
The exhibition’s final Friday with a champagne bar
The last Friday of the exhibition lights up in Fotografiska’s Night Shift, starting as always at 20:00.
This special evening will sparkle with a champagne bar open in the exhibition hall until midnight, offering a chance to enjoy the rich flavors of the Champagne region.
For this occasion, three different champagnes from the new-generation champagne house Michel Gonet will be available for tasting (varieties not served by the glass).
The first glass can be picked up at the champagne bar, after which the tasting continues throughout the exhibition in two mini tasting stations, where the remaining champagnes await discovery. In addition, the main bar in the hall will offer a selection of special champagnes, including magnums and new releases from Gonet. Fotografiska’s sommeliers will be on hand at the bars.
At 20:00, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition led by art historian Harry Liivrand.
In the restaurant, a champagne dinner will take place throughout the evening (18:00–22:00), with reservations required. Guests are also welcome to drop by the 6th-floor bar without a reservation and continue the evening with an à la carte menu, featuring champagne and other delights. That night, Diane Gonet will share stories about champagne on the 6th floor, accompanied by music from a DJ.
