„In Bloom“ masterclass with Annika Metsla: flower photography
26th of August 17.30
Are you captivated by the beauty of fresh flowers, or would you like to give new life to a wilted bloom through artistic photography? Is beauty hidden in a large bouquet or a single flower? Come and find out on August 26th, when esteemed portrait and wedding photographer Annika Metsla conducts a masterclass in flower photography.
In Fotografiska's masterclasses, only the best in their field share their knowledge. With her wealth of experience, Annika has the ability to notice and capture detailed beauty, a recurring theme in her work, whether photographing flowers or people. Though Annika Metsla is known as a wedding photographer, her journey began in a flower shop, where she worked as a trained florist.
Annika's vibrant personality makes her experience sharing inspiring and creative.
* The masterclass takes place in the restaurant on the 6th floor, offering the best city view and a non-alcoholic welcome drink from Fotografiska.
* Approximate duration: 3 hours.
* Participation fee: 79 € / 59 €, includes a welcome drink, flowers and greenery for the masterclass, and exhibition access. The exhibition ticket is valid on the same day before the masterclass begins.

"In Bloom" Masterclass
During the masterclass, we will walk through the "In Bloom" exhibition, then draw inspiration from Annika Metsla's works and experience in photographing flowers. The renowned photographer will share plenty of practical tips. Additionally, you will have the chance to arrange and photograph your own floral and greenery creations. We will embrace the idea that flowers, no longer suitable for sale in a flower shop, can gain new life, beauty, and purpose through photography. Finally, Annika will provide feedback on the participants' photos.
The masterclass is designed for both photography enthusiasts and photographers. Professional photography equipment is not necessary; feel free to come with just your phone. The key is an open mind to notice and capture images, as our focus is on inspiration and exploring perspectives.

"In Bloom" exhibition
Nature is a mystery. Strong and majestic, yet fragile and fleeting. Tamed or wild, trimmed or untouched, influenced and altered by humans. Bright and beautiful, yet dark and threatening. It is a sacred refuge from which everything has evolved. In the "In Bloom" exhibition, the awe-inspiring meets the fragile, beauty meets danger, and the familiar meets the unknown. Fotografiska is "In Bloom."
