Café and bakery

Exhibitions deserve both time and a place to reflect on them. On the first floor, you'll find our cosy café with a seasonal, wholesome menu. Stop by before your exhibition visit, afterwards, or simply because you're in the mood for good food. The menu follows the rhythm of the seasons, making the most of what the fields have to offer, what is freshest, and what our pantry inspires. From early autumn until late spring, the menu also includes weekday seasonal lunch specials.

Enjoy your meal in the café or take it to go. Either way, it's prepared the Fotografiska way – with seasonal ingredients, conscious choices and a root-to-leaf philosophy.

Great coffee deserves just as much attention as great food. That's why we serve specialty coffee in collaboration with responsible roasteries such as Paper Mill Roastery and The Brick. Our coffee of the day changes daily, offering a chance to discover new beans, flavours and nuances with every visit.

Our handcrafted kombucha has also become a firm favourite. We feed our SCOBY with black tea that has already served its first purpose in the café before helping us brew the next batch of kombucha.

Speaking of tea – during summer, you'll also find Fotografiska's homemade iced tea on the menu, a refreshingly cold companion that pairs with warm summer days better than just about any other drink.

Bakery

What does morning smell like at Fotografiska? Well, it's the smell of freshly baked bread, layered with sweet caramel notes and a touch of inspiration from cuisines around the world. Our bakers create pastries that are just as fitting for your first bite of the day as they are for that I feel like something light moment in the afternoon.

Playful experiments with seasonal ingredients bring new pastries to the counter throughout the year (our Hokkaido pumpkin and béchamel pastry is simply not to be missed), while legendary favourites like the almond croissant and the jalapeño cheese ciabatta have firmly earned their place.

Summer Outdoor Area

As the weather warms up, the café expands outdoors – right in front of our building on the Telliskivi Square, you’ll find tables for enjoying coffee, brunch, lunch or a little fika in the fresh air.

The backyard behind the house has a life of its own: from time to time it hosts summer block parties, occasional concerts and other special events.
