School break special: photography workshop with lunch

24th of April 10.30

Töötuba

Photographer and videographer Siim Loog takes young photo enthusiasts on a photo journey. The workshop is best suited for children aged 9-14 years.

We will create photos inspired by the exhibitions at Fotografiska. Together, we will explore Simen Johan's wondrous world of animals in the "Until the Kingdom Comes" exhibition, captivating portraits in Peter Lindbergh's "The Lightness of Being" hall, Wang Chen's dreamlike video installation "Fractured Delights", and the celebrities of the last century on Kary H. Lasch' photos

We will use the inspiration gathered from the exhibitions for photography. In addition, we will discuss photo editing and put everything into practice. Participants will be able to do photo editing on their phones. Additionally, as a group activity, we will create a playful movie clip.

* The event will take place on the 6th floor of Fotografiska; we will gather initially at the museum cashier on the 1st floor.
* After the workshop, at 12 o'clock, we eat at the Fotografiska café, where we will offer pasta and lemonade for children.

Participants are asked to bring along:

  • Smartphone with a working camera.
  • The "Snapseed" app installed on the phone. Available on both App Store and Play Store.
  • Open mind and joyful mood.
