Night Shift: Culture Night x Mash Machine
August 28, 20:00–00:00
On 28 August, as part of Culture Night, Fotografiska's Night Shift invites you to play with music. This year's Culture Night theme is Create Together – and that's exactly what you can do at Fotografiska.
In the exhibition hall, you'll find Mash Machine, a music-making station where you can create beats, mix sounds, and make music. No previous experience is needed – bring your friends along or simply drop by and let art and music come together.
You'll also have the chance to explore Fotografiska's three exhibitions, including the major exhibition Photography in Power: Making Worlds Visible, which is entering its final weeks before closing.
By the way – on the same evening, Fotografiska will also host a full-length concert by Brainstorm. The Latvian band, who surprised guests with a special performance at the opening of Anton Corbijn's exhibition earlier this year, returns this time for a dedicated concert evening (separate ticket required).
Mash Machine will be available in the exhibition hall from 20.00–23.00, and the exhibitions will remain open until midnight. Extend your evening at Fotografiska's rooftop bar and outdoor terrace, where you'll enjoy one-of-a-kind views across the city. The rooftop bar is open until 01.00.
Fotografiska Night Shift
Every Friday, Fotografiska switches into Night Shift mode: from 20.00 onwards, the museum takes on a different character, the lights grow dimmer, the music gets a little louder, and the drinks a little livelier.
Wrapped in the atmosphere of the night, the museum welcomes both spontaneous and carefully planned visits, whether you're looking for a lively evening or a deeper cultural experience, all the way until midnight. Keep your eyes and mind open for surprises – you never know what Night Shift has in store.
Every Friday from 20.00, admission to the exhibitions is €10.
