Peter Lindbergh

Peter Lindbergh (1944-2019) changed the way fashion photography is perceived, both broadly and specifically for the individuals in front of his camera. His work from the 1990s marks the beginning of an era that still resonates today—an era of supermodels and a kind of timeless period where femininity and masculinity intertwined, often with a white shirt. He opposed highly stylized images and emphasized women's independence, confidence, and natural beauty.

"The Lightness of Being" has enchanted Fotografiska visitors throughout the spring and will remain open until June 2nd.

Krõõt Tarkmeel

Recognized portrait and fashion photographer Krõõt Tarkmeel's portfolio is filled with countless unforgettable images of both well-known faces and enchanting strangers. Inspired by deep relationships, authenticity, and a desire to see beyond the surface through trust and a safe space, her camera captures more than just faces. The powerful presence of intimacy and a poetic, honest gaze at people are recurring elements in her photographic work.
