Father's Day: guided tour

10th of November 14.00

Shepard Fairey

The best gift is time spent together – we invite you and your father to an inspiring guided tour of the exhibitions at Fotografiska! The tour adds an extra layer of excitement to your visit, uncovering the stories behind the images and providing deeper insights into both the exhibitions and photographic art.

Fotografiska's guide, Keijo-Johann Norden, will lead the tour, sharing fascinating stories and intriguing details. You'll leave our tours with a little more than you came with, every time.

On view:

Group Exhibition “Nude”

The “Nude” exhibition showcases interpretations of the nude body from 32 female artists, including Estonian artists Cloe Jancis and Marlen Kärema. Through diverse creative approaches, the artists break free from traditional representations of the nude, presenting the body in raw honesty and glory, with contemporary freshness and liberated from restrictions—all seen through the female gaze. The result is an environment where conventional roles no longer apply, perspectives shift, and power hierarchies are turned on their heads.

Shepard Fairey “Photo Synthesis”

Shepard Fairey is one of the most renowned and provocative street artists, with over 135 murals worldwide. He gained widespread recognition during the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign with his iconic “HOPE” portrait of Barack Obama and the rise of his OBEY clothing brand. Now, his art is featured at Fotografiska, blending iconic past works with new pieces created specifically for this exhibition, coming together in a captivating visual experience called “Photo Synthesis.”
