Book Launch: Heikki Leis „Storm Before the Silence“

The talk will be held in Estonian, with photographer and artist Heikki Leis and writer Jan Kaus discussing the exhibition and book Storm Before the Silence.
Opening at Fotografiska on 9 October 2026, the exhibition explores the primal relationship between people and water, and how water transforms the body, movement, and perception.
The accompanying photobook is an independent work of art, featuring a carefully curated sequence of Leis’s photographs alongside texts by Jan Kaus.
At the book launch on 21 October at 18:00, Leis and Kaus will explore how their artistic perspectives complement one another and reveal new layers of meaning in the images.
