"The Golden Years": One of the owners of the Kary H. Lasch archive, his personal friend, graphic designer, and photographer Michel Hjorth is in Tallinn for the opening of "The Golden Years" exhibition and will meet with the Estonian audience to talk more about the exhibition and Kary himself.

When Kary Lasch passed away in 1993, he left behind a treasure trove of nearly 500,000 photos. In 2019, Michel Hjorth and Christer Löfgren became the owners of his archive, spending four years digitizing and organizing the entire image material.

Exhibition "The Golden Years" April 19th - September 8th

The exhibition "The Golden Years" opens the door to the world of photographer, collector, and eccentric Kary H. Lasch (1914–1993) and the golden age of the 1950s. Naturally, the exhibition features Lasch's classic photos of Pablo Picasso, Sophia Loren, Salvador Dalí, Brigitte Bardot, and other world-famous figures, but it focuses even more on the zeitgeist and atmosphere that the photographer was so adept at capturing.
